The 40s, 50s, and 60s were a series of tumultuous wars of revolutions and liberations. India is a country with over 90% illiteracy. This is a primary reason why the colonial powers were able to entice them on the name of development and getting into their country. Neo-colonialism known as the period when the colonials left the countries and it was a period of chaos. The british left india peacefully but the partition in 1947 resulted in millions of deaths.
