Class struggle and economic struggle: struggles of injustice sometimes overt and covert. These social relations are exploitative: class struggle in political and cultural spheres, occupy movement, arab spring, class struggles coexist with struggles over gender, race, sexuality issues. The economic political and cultural processes interact within a whole in which the economic sphere is ultimately dominant: and this is partly because if the the utter signi cance of the means of existence. The exact ways in which the economic sphere, the political sphere and cultural sphere interact vary from one place to another. The e ciency with which we produce means of existence (labour productivity) and social relations, change over to modes of production: historically modes of production at lower level of productivity are replaced by modes at the higher level.
