The ninth lecture was how a patient and physician can access medical assistance or information through the comfort of their environment. As a physician, their schedules are most likely filled with appointments and events they must attend about enhancing the medical world. Similarly, one idea i found useful was recording information for old age couples. The video we watched in class about the old age couple was a very good example. Since this chapter is on telemedicine, the physician gave instructions on how the information should be recorded so it can be updated in his system. This is very useful because people nowadays are so caught up in their technology and they find it useful to incorporate their health with their day to day use with technology. To conclude, telemedicine is the remote delivery of medical care using technology. Almost all institutions are trying out telemedicine and eicu"s are expanding due to no reimbursement.
