Written in a particular meter, designed to perform. Some of this poem can be called as kosmogenia. The muses were the greek goddesses of inspiration in the literature, science and the arts. 9 daughters of zeus and mnemosyne (personification of memory) They were usually invoked at the beginning of various lyrical poems, such as in the homeric epics; this happened so that the muses give inspiration or speak through the poet"s words.
