In doesn"t harm us when we study geometry to use our senses to look at a diagram of a geometrical idea (e. g an isosceles triangle) Our senses do not get in the way of our understanding. The first principles of metaphysics while they are as evident as the primary notions in geometry they conflict with many preconceived opinions derived from the senses. Therefore you really have to concentrate and meditate and draw your minds from corporeal things to achieve perfect knowledge of the first principles of metaphysics.
