As far back as we can go, there have been elaborate discussions regarding the end of time. Genre fantasy bases its writing on details, two make you believe in an alternate world. Science ction used to be a form that guys read and was technologically oriented but over time it expanded when women started to write. Judith meryl was a jewish women, raised progressively, and wrote stories for science. Central question that dominates both science ction and speculative ction is what. How is it going to end: creation myths lead us to de-creation, ex. The bible ends with revelations which is a depiction of the end of time. Science moves forward by disputation: ex. Science forward; that in turn would also be challenged. We are looking not only at the rights of the individual or the rights of a community, but at what science has to offer us.
