Luther is summoned by the catholic church to defend his many publications. When defending his publications martin luther appears to divide his writings into three separate categories. The first category which he states to deal with piety, faith and morals. The second classification of his writings discusses the opposition to the papacy for laying waste all christendom. In the third and final category of martin luther"s writings he writes against those who defend the roman tyranny and disgrace his beliefs. Upon reading the text i am able to decipher that there is a national interest operating in the background rather than simply theological concerns. Vv 181-182 elizabeth i enforces the middle way" . Read the italicized introduction carefully before attempting to read the act. Upon reading the italicized introduction i am unable to directly point towards who it is targeted to. However i am able to comprehend that it is discussing the act against puritans.
