In the norming phase, the teamrallies around shared understandings and norms of behaviour that will guide future operations. By this stage team members relaize that unless they pull together a(cid:374)d begi(cid:374) to develop (cid:373)ore of a (cid:862)we(cid:863) rather tha(cid:374) a (cid:862)me(cid:863) or (cid:862)u a(cid:374)d them(cid:863: k, k. In the forming phase, team members come together for the first time. With the end clearly in sight, more attention is paid to the external environment than in phase 1: completion: in a final burst of activity, there is a sprint to the finish line. The focus is on output and results as teams package what they have accomplished in terms of deliverables for external presentation.
