L"oreal gives people tons of opportuniies and responsibiliies; he let because he felt manipulated into staying (job locaion, job posiion etc. ) He felt like he was lied to regarding job locaion (toronto vs. paris, then told to work in montreal, where he had previously worked for l"or al for 5 years) To move up the corporate ladder, staying in one place is beter. If you"re not saisied, then go; but assess your creditability. Choose someone you want to aspire to become. Highly important to seek out mentor as early as possible. Sales: bring the money; bring the po numbers; the cheques etc. Many companies want to get online because it is an emerging market. Salespeople have less work in 1v1 sales; so they must work harder in order to generate those. If you are going to take a posiion in sales, you must have a strong knowledge in inancials and numbers!
