Document Summary

When western culture and values get into other cultures. Globalisation took place in india in the mid 90s, because before that india was an anti- western country; no foreign company or their products were allowed. Hence, there was an economic liberalisation and western values got into indian values system. One of the ways in which bollywood films have resisted globalisation is through production of sheer number of films every year. The population of india is so big and so diverse that the culture of classical music will sustain as there are number of people who are interested in that type of music, even today. There are two aspects of a song: internal and social. The internal aspect means things dealing with songs, lyrics, singers, and all the number of people involved in making of a song. Social aspect is how we see the songs in a social context. Structural and musical make-up of a film song.
