Patient also stopped using ventolin because he thought he only needed to use spiriva, tell him to keep using ventolin prn. Mum concerned about growth retardation: tell her it"s okay b/c aj is getting a low dose steroid and not even the one evaluated in the study. Dtp: ajay was not using inhaler properly (2 puffs in the aerochamber at once, not spaced separately) Ajay"s father came into the pharmacy and was concerned that he was a bad parent because aj had an asthma attack at hockey in the morning. One of the scripts was for bricanyl and the suggestion was made to change it to ventolin (as the short acting inhaler) Needed to explain the proper spacer technique and that switching to ventolin would be easier on aj because then all the puffers would be using the same device. (bricanyls a turbahaler)
