Community service is important because we need to help one another and show love towards one another despite the conditions. Catholics value community service so much because community service can be related to god and other kind of religious ways. For example, god said we should love our neighbor as ourselves and we should help those in need. For my community service i have chosen to work in a church office, i will be assisting with information about baptism, confirmation and marriage. By doing this, i will understand the importance of community service because i will have more knowledge about people in my community and how helping people is a good thing. Community service is important because it helps us to build a strong relationship amongst ourselves. Catholic value community service a lot because god said that we should love our neighbor as ourselves, and that we should also assist one another.
