Continuation of personal computers and the internet notes. Computers were monopolized and limited for example: made people take o shoes before using and it got people to not use the computers. Arpa plays a role in pc development and the internet. Time sharing made the most out of the computer and using them to their advantage. Time sharing allowed more individuals to access the computers and made them feel like its their own computer. Feeling a close connection to computers was ampli ed through minicomputers with the help of time sharing. Mini computers were the result of ic with multiple transistors on a single chip. Handheld calculators and game consoles were invented because of ics. Ics caught the eyes of commercial market use because of mass production. Ics in calculators were specialized (designed to t a speci c purpose). Intel made the rst ic circuit chip that was a micro processor with a general purpose logic chip.
