Meculas gifted observer made very precise measurements of the stars. He was aware of copernicus heliocentric model buy did not fully endorse it. Brache published his work and presented his hybrid geo-heliocentric model . But all the other planets orbit the sun. He also described the motion of his comet being outside the orbit of venus. After he was in proague hired kepler as an assistant 1600-1601. After brahe"s death kepler obtained brache"s astronomical data: positions of mars were most important. He came up with the three laws of planetary motion after brache passed away. The planet the gave the most trouble because of the retrograde, and proved the key to kepler to realize that he had to abonded the concept and he had the strong sense that the heavens were perfect.
