Social darwinism: it did not take long for darwins theory to be interpreted and applied to different areas, one was sociology, herbert spencer interpreted darwins idea as a struggle for existence where only the strong survive. Lecture: darwin"s theory slowly gained popularity in the scientific world, but it met resistance from some scientists who felt it conflicted with religion.
