Knew that this would bring great rewards (pick of academic position, fame and money) Kings college in university of london (franklin + wilkins) Franklin very direct and honest, wilkins more laid back + reserved. Franklin felt more like technician than scientist (remember science more valued. Female in a male-orientated field and did not have access to social spaces. Close proximity to franklin + wilkins and wilkins often complained about frankin to w/c. Showed f/w their first model, w/c uncovered basic faults. W/c became interested in franklin second set of images. Wilkins allowed w/c to view franklin images without her permission. W/c and wilkins received nobel prize for discovery. Pretended that it only confirmed what they already knew. Nature published w/c article first, f/w second, made it appear that they only confirm what they knew. After franklin passed away, very little was debated and defended in her honour.
