Kepler realised that the sun was further away, and so moion was slower: he also realised that there is no uniform speed, they change. Copernicus: heliocentric model: was a neoplatonist, god is the sun, so the planets must revolve around the sun/god, introduced epicycles, got rid of equants. Galileo: challenged the aristotelian view of the heavens being perfecion. Tycho brahe: geoheliocentric model, he wanted to integrate both models that appealed to him, he brought to science some accurate equaions that helped to create accurate data.
