Different ideas/attitudes based on the idea of where we grow up in. A single person will be talking about cultural relativism and slide between the different meanings. This descriptive version of cultural relativism; there is a huge core of properties/attitudes of moral dispositions. Say something helpful about how strong the culture is as influencing you as a human. There is the core you; than there are other aspects that are affected by culture. Other notions of cultural relativism: they are both right (notion of 6-9) They seem to be disagreeing, but they are both correct. Even if there is a disagreement; its hard to convince someone about the right moral; even if that"s right, its hard to influence or reason with. The mere fact you believe something doesn"t mean that it"s correct. Proving that you"re right, especially when its cross-culture; persuading someone; getting them around to your point of view; is different.
