Impressions are oten inaccurate because of bias"s in person percepion. Good looking people command more of our atenion. Atracive people tend to be seen as more sociable, friendly, warm and well-adjusted than those who are less atracive. Litle correlaion actually exists between atraciveness and personality traits, although they have more friends and more social skills. Our percepion is swayed by our desire to bond with atracive people. Atracive people tend to land beter jobs and earn higher salaries. People can guess sexual orientaion prety accurately from watching a video.
