It is believed that with a large number of other bystanders, an individual is more likely to not help a victim. Crime is an act, which is against the law and is punishable in court. There is a long list of crimes, j walking, theft under , fraud, etc. In this case, we are looking at crime where a definite victim is present, mostly street crimes where it is visible to the public. Such crimes can include assault, sexual assault, and theft.
