Exam on november 30th: same time, same location. You will also be given an exam guide: there will be questions on the guide, some of which will appear on the actual exam. This week is also the last tutorial you will have. After the exam review will be done next week, there will be no more tutorials. If there is something you do not understand, ask during the exam review class. There is a difference between asking questions for clarification or for hints. Hint questions will be ignored by the professor and tutorial leader. Notion of being canadian is contingent: potential of immigrants is linked to their economic potential, not until 1967 that immigration was open to all people, not just white. The role of the state as an active agent of socio economic regulation is very present even though it is a globalized issue. Immigrants (mainly people of colour) experience massive downward mobility.
