Myth is the basis of human society: general statement about the world, believed to be true and acted on, substitute for instinct, based on faith, not fact, truth is proven through the action they provoke. If there is no general statement about the world, public action is difficult to sustain. Of germany vs. europe, when europe stayed in battle due to the fact that the usually lost first, and came back with a win. Myth bridges the gap between reality and fact. Germany"s belief brought on disaster, hence belief is not enough. When actions are not followed through as they were expected, we have to reconsider the myth. Liberalism, marxism and other organized systems in our government have multiplied since ww2 and all consist of myth systems. Myth and action is only effective when you are able to reconstruct and deconstruct general statements about the world.
