An individuals position in society, their gender, religion, their age, all they brought together as an indicator in the probability in which they would or would not relate to suicide. Our agency is shaped by specific range of cultural schemas and resources available in a person"s particular social milieu. (mills) The actual way we act s individuals we believe, all of that is not set in stone. The individual agency is very much affected b y society, and the larger social structure, and what we actually take on as our own. Is a large part of what we have been socialized, who we have come in contact with, the society we are born into, the world and life experiences tha we have had. Is deeply affected by social and economical structures. Focus is not on the external world as much as it is on what happens in the individuals.
