They don"t necessarily hate technology but they hate the changes that technology brought up to the world. Mainly their issues were that: (changes: technology creates more negaive contribuions to our society than posiive. Lack of compassion of the factory owners; social responsibility. Machines were able to produce high quality goods same as human could without skilled labour. Leads to workers are easily replaced, because their skills are not preserved anymore. Long hours, less skills, less security, less power, less beneits, less pay: technology alienates workers from the capitalists; people who hold the power of labour. They took acion: they destroyed machines created by the industrial revoluion because: Believed that they need to shape the implementaion of new technologies. They need to slow down the destrucion of older economic relaions unil people could adjust to the newer ones. Technology and capitalism go hand in hand. Technology sponsors the economy and incorporates wealth and eiciency.
