Problems that were socially constructed make you feel socially - norm but individually sad. Trends that change between gender roles and work. We must understand ourselves before we can understand society. Must understand society to truly understand self. Smaller problems with in one persons life is a problem with a larger social situation. Larger social patterns have become a false consciousness. Individuals see problems as they think it reflects individually but really it is a bigger problem in society. Sociological imagination enables us to grab history and geography in society. To understand how thinks happened nd why things have happened. Enable ourselves to understand situations to think differently. Quality of thought not quantity of information. To understand economic problem we must look how problem evolved.
