Branch of social legal studies that look at everyday law, social impact and effects. Pass a law and have a social impact. Law can be a societal mirror and showing governing ideology"s (what society"s believe economic, etc. ) Always changing law doesn t equal static and is not fixed law is constantly changing. Law and society ask psychological question and a anthropological question. Social legal studies is like a big tenet and can be anything you want it to be. Not doctrinal (not written in stone tablet forever) must interpret legal rule and how its effecting society a doctrine is just a way through the law.
