Preferred to shop at local stores though to support their community and to get credit at local store. With credit can buy stuff and then pay it off at end of week/ month when the pay packets came in. Hard for working class to get of cial divorces because hard to get to parliament so just walked away from marriage illegal birth control. Push to give women better control of their fertility vs ethical eugenics.
