Charter is bad for working people, people of concern of social justice, comes form an explicitly political perspective and left wing perspective: it"s good for only the rich, elite corporations those are who benefit. Part of a movement called critical legal studies -- look at how the law functions and critic it critical because they look at how the law really works, aren"t interested in theories. Charter itself is a political document that favours one group over another. Pretending that it speaks to our liberties is missing the point. The biggest problem is that that the charter gives power to the judges and takes it away from the politicians and legislatives. Concerned with the selling of the charter : he calls the charter the legalization of politics instead of politics being done in the political sphere it"s done in the legal sphere.
