Eli made some arguments about age discrimination; divided laws into different categories (suspicious category and non-suspicious category) Said we are suspicious because we harvest stereotypes (discreetness) We shouldn"t be worried with laws based on discrimination. We do have attitudes towards people based on age. Concerns about older people driving cars (starting at age 80, they need to pass driving tests every 2 years to see if they are still capable of driving). Also concerned about young people driving cars (cannot drive after consuming alcohol). Older people are kind of scared about young people (not all, but certain youths). We use age; one reality of a wold in which we prefer benefits. We use it as a marker for development. When you are 18, you can vote, join the army, etc. But we don"t know that someone at age 18 is actually mature enough to do something that you were not mature enough to do a year before.
