Systems theory focuses on interactions within and across multiple social" systems such as family, friends, school, social policy as well as social structural systems and more. Furthermore, it emphasizes the role of these systems in contributing to individual and community well-being and for providing multiple points for social work intervention to improve the fit between the individual and their social environment. Moreover, social workers were alienated to the language of the systems theory approach. For instance, transaction means to understand the transactions between the individual and their environment and to promote change in the transections. Furthermore, homeostasis means to seek and keep some kind of operating balance in its internal processes, or to keep the processes within certain limits. Also, entropy means to increase the order of the individual and environmental systems with which they work. Equifinality means to seek a variety of interventions from a number of different angles.
