Before i begin indulging you with this journal entry piece on my thoughts and experiences of theatre class at york university, i will commence with a brief self introduction. I am a third-year student in the environmental studies program going into the urban/regional planning and design stream of concentration. I(cid:374) all (cid:373)y years i(cid:374) s(cid:272)hool, i"(cid:448)e (cid:374)e(cid:448)er took a theatre or dra(cid:373)a arts related course. For simple reasons of not having enough room to take the extra elective, my art interests lie in the visual aspect of drawing, painting or sculpting. But also, the biggest reason of not having that confidence or comfort with other people. I tend to do things on my own and enjoy working by myself. Of course, from time to time i do engage in group work and being part of the social dimension of society, it does depend on the situation and factors at hand.
