Extremism and revolution (exceeds beyond the norm) Extremism is the use of opinion or action that exceeds far beyond the norm such as on education, sex, politics, etc: they are ultra-left-winged, they are very extreme, they can disarm someone in power. Notion of newness, it is revolutionary and to create new ways of improving society. According the to the merriam webster dictionary: departure from the usual, extreme changes in existing views, changes in views, practices, and policies of extreme change, extreme measures to retain or restore a political state of affairs. Activists have to find new and effective tools to advance their message. Int his context, communicative forms of persuasion such as radical ridicule have become important tools to communicate sense and fight the powers in effective new ways.
