Sexuality in long-term marriages : 1 in 5 marriages are non-sexual (less than 10 times a year, 1 in 3 non-married couples together over 2 years. What"s the problem: integrating marriage and sexual relationship integrating long-term intimacy & arousal integrating in our lives is dif cult because of privacy, time, children. Potential contributing factor : erection medications (i. e. viagra) Works 65-85% of the time: problem: expectation of 100% success rate. Sex as a factor in marriage : when sexuality works well in marriage. Sex is not a big deal: sex has minor presiding role in marriage. 15-20% of martial vitality and satisfaction: sexual dysfunctions, con icts or desire issues. 50-70% of the time - this is a big deal: sexual dysfunction: major role in marriage inhibited desire. Erectile dysfunction: #1 cause is belly fat. Vaginismus: men"s desire does not factor in to how women perceive beauty. Fertility issues and sexuality : largest percentage of non-sexual onset.
