It"s ok to buy generic grocery and drug products, and doing so saves you lots of money. A little known secret is a lot of generic products are manufactured by major brand manufacturers. These products costs 30-50% less but taste and perform the same as name brands. Your groceries add up so this is a place you can save a lot of money. Bring your lunch to work as often as possible. You"ll miss out on some coworker and networking bonding opportunities if you bring your lunch every day. But, if you do do this, do it 2-3 times a week and you can save over a year. Don"t purchase the first generation of a product; wait until the second, third, or fourth. Remember these are costly when they first come out so you don"t have to be the first one with everything when it comes out. Technology improves the products and makes costs decrease.
