When you log in, you can view your channel in the menu bar and show what"s on your channel"s page. Your channel page is just a storefront for your channel, where you can organize your videos into playlists for your audience to consume easier. Your youtube watch page is the place most viewers find your videos. If someone finds your video in the search by a subscription feed or link from a website or social media channel, they"ll likely go to the watch page. Youtube also has analytics that you can use to show audience insight and improve your channel"s content performance. Youtube works for journalists because it is a powerful platform and tool that you can publish news to grow your audience, engage with them, and find/curate citizen-created videos.
