Document Summary
Data display: keep it simple and easy to understand. Visuals of analytics help shape data into insights. The way we choose to display our data can help improve the process of reaching insights. Keep your data display simple because if you need more time to understand the graph, you have less time to work with an analytic process. Graphs are supposed to avoid fatigue because you"re constantly working with numbers so to avoid this, pinpoint relevant aspects of the metrics. Consider when looking at something that looks off or doesn"t bring your comfort, how you can fix it and better display it. Changing a graph and the way it looks can help you more than you think. A simple example: changing from line to column. Let"s say you want a visual for monthly interactions / post for a group of pages over a year. If you want this, line charts can be confusing.
