When the mother"s life is at risk. From a christian point of view, letting the child live is christ like. Killing babies is another way to follow christ. Setting hard limits for what women can and can"t do. Kids are a part of god"s creation. He wants us to live according to god"s plan. He means that we aren"t allowed to kill for our betterment. He calls on us to be humble. Faith: that god"s plan is better than yours. Love: that you or your adoptive parents love. It"s not about changing the law but acting righteous. If we tighten the law that"ll make them follow it. He says human life: 2 weeks is when it begins. Meilander is more of a virtue theologist rather than consequentialism. When it comes to the abortion debate. How do you get people to go to religious views rather than just living by legal law. A decision may be childish, shallow, selfish.
