ME 3320 Lecture 90: CAD Week 9-5
Document Summary
The alternate position view allows you to represent a range of motion in a 2d drawing, for instance, when you have an assembly with multiple configurations. View layout tab alternate position view. In this example, different configuration is shown: A broken view can be used to take a view which is too large to fit on the drawing sheet, and break it so only important details are shown. Select type of break, gap size, etc, and move your mouse to put the break lines onto drawing. Model break views add breaks to your files and are stored as configurations. First need to make sure the part file has a model break configuration. In the drawing, select drawing view you want to show the model break in. (select view on drawing sheet) Make sure the configuration containing the break is selected. Next, check box next to show in exploded or model break state .
