BIOL 1440 Lecture Notes - Lecture 5: Antibody
Document Summary
Not very much, because i think that everything comes back to the earth eventually. You can always make a connection back to the earth. What"s going on here? (picture of leaves, dirt, fungi forest floor) We have all been made of recycled materials from creepy-crawlies to the little things that run the world. They represent 90% of life on earth. If they disappeared, humans would be gone within hours afterwards. If humans disappeared in the next few hours, not much else would happen animals would continue to exist. All life is based on this relationship. The photons of light energy are absorbed by plants (photosynthesis) and then converted to chemical energy and stored as sugar. Then we eat the plants, take apart the sugar, and get that energy back. Direct interchange inhale o2 from plants, exhale co2 for plants. We drink water and then we pee it out. Hair falls out and birds may use it for their nests.
