Environmental issues: delving into the issue of water depletion. By: joey mcweeney, kelsi mcdougle, adam villari, and shane mandel. Purpose: to analyze the causes of changes in water and propose possible solutions to the problem. We will be focusing on global depletion of water due to various changes. For our group presentation, we have decided on option four. This topic requires us to explore an environmental issue and research about the problem and the possible solutions for the problem. The environmental issue we have chosen to become experts on is the area of the change in all types of water from climate change and the impact it has on the environment. For this project, i will be researching the process of eutrophication and how it affects ecosystems in ponds and lakes. The pollution is the contaminants from fertilizers such as nitrogen and phosphorus seeping into runoff and entering lakes and ponds.
