Virtue can be described as proper order of the city or the soul. Vice is the denigration of the proper order. Women can have jobs but aren"t as desirable as boys (sexually and otherwise) Both men and women have the same structure where they all have different natures. This means that some women have thumos. It"s very dangerous therefore if women in the city are not educated because their thumos could be very dangerous to the city if they do not know how to control it. Because men and women"s natures suit them for different jobs some women can be guardians and auxiliaries. This means that men and women will have to train in gymnastics together, but since gymnastics involves naked wrestling socrates is worried about overpopulation which brings us to the 3 waves argument. 3 waves: men and women train together, women and children are held in common, philosophers must be kings. Men and women have the same nature.
