client is in control of the therapy!•

therapist isn't judgmental!•
client has to learn to be non-judgmental of themselves!‣

self-esteem is so important, don't want to criticize your kids, want to be positive!◦
parents have high self-esteem in mind for us!◦
kids will have high self esteem if they succeed in comparison to others!◦
if you are admired by your peers, you are more likely to have a good self-image!‣
