At least 1 or 2 of them, usually 2. People tend to skim first few lines or skip the stimulus. Ask to pick options that no one would pick because they would be not natural or valid. 2 questions - social desirability and attention as dependent variables. Validation only for 2 out of 7 items. Never put attention checks after randomination, put it beforehand! Analyze people who pass and fail and remove those who are not paying attention. Need to increase sample size and make sure people pay attention. Pretreatment questions - asked before main experiment. Good ac should contain normal sentences initially, the attention check and then the question and the options.
