1 Introduction:
Arifa Mahfooz,intermediate from Pechs college for women,Bachelors in Pre
engineering in Computer Systems and information system from Ned univer-
sity,discussed some insights at Techlogix.Arifa Mahfooz started her career in
2010 at Techlogix as a developer.Now,she works as product manager at Techlogix
and at Hbl.[2]Moreover,other interests are gardening,cooking and playing table
tennis.In this session,Arifa shares with the students about what is Tmx and how
it works.
2 Techlogix:
Techlogix provides applications to clients which help them to sell their product
in the market.[1]The solution of the product being implemented at Techlogix is
Tmx(Mobile based Technology Solutions).Tmx is a mobile based solution that
automates the field force management.i.e all the activities carried out on the
field force that is automated by Tmx.Tmx platform is a cloud based solution
which helps enterprise to realize field force in different areas.For example,Tmx
platform exist for bank Alfalah and Nokia.There are three different verticals of
Tmx platform which are as follows:
•Sales and distribution
•Micro finance banks
•Home sampling from medical labs
2.0.1 Sales and Distribution
Before understanding how it works lets explain the cycle of distribution.Lets take
an example of Nestle.First,Nestle manufacture their products.Then the transfer
of products to distributors takes place.Next,agent of distributors visit shop in
the market.Then,agent captures the order and the second agent delivery’s the
product to the end user in two to five days.There may be a third agent which
takes surveys to get feedback from the end user.Note that the agent has a
