Epigenetic marks stay on if mother feeds them, deals well with stress. If mother ignores rat, the epigenetic genes will stay (closed) and they will be stressed. Background: possibly of transgenerational transmission of stress-induced vulnerability. Mdd extremely common, heritable (40%), but causative genes difficult to.
