Must question the world around you with evidence. Nativism= key aspects of who you are are innate. You are born as the person you are going to become. Key elements of human nature are innate. Empiricist= mind becomes who you are through experiences. Interactive dualism: relationship between mind and body is separated. Mind is tied to immortal soul, so it is not material. However, it is related to body, so there is interaction. Pineal gland= physical location which connected mind and body. B/c typically in body, there are two of things, but there is only 1 pineal gland. Phrenology- brain is connected to the mind, so if you know what the brain is like, you can understand the mind.
