Low levels lead to lack of focus on work or lack of motivation to do simple tasks like showering. Adhd can be caused by low norepinephrine levels. Carry input messages from sensory organs to spinal cord and brain. Transmit messages from brain and spinal cord to muscles and organs. Make mental functions, behaviors, and emotions possible. Sensory neurons transmit messages from sense organs.
