With respect to vision, last time we talked about our initial steps to initial processing: the physical stimulus for vision is light. Howe do we get to see owers and anything else is thanks to light. Objects in the world have re ectance and absorbance of wavelengths of light. The physical proprieties of light and how it interacts with objects impact how we see and what we see. What we see is very limited to the full spectrum of the world. They do not give us information about objects, therefore they are not useful to us.
