It is an optical illusion, when something looks like it is moving when it is not, because we cannot use peripheral vision in a completely dark room. In one study, the participant was brought in individually but in the other as a group and you can hear other people"s esti(cid:373)ates. He the(cid:374) looked at the judgement people gave and that the range of answers is smaller as compared to individual answers. Private acceptance: conforming out of a genuine belief that what others are doing or saying is right.
