Objective: have a global good environmental practice for organizations. Operations not using too much natural resources and energy. Needs periodic inspections by outside auditors to maintain certification. Both iso 9000 and 14000 focuses on organization process rather than product/service. Quality and performance of office equipment that contains reused parts. Similar to iso14000 - good to environment. Must prove remanufactured products are just as good as new and environmental. Ex: xerox is part of the iso 24700. Consider the ease of producing; delivery; assembly.
